BACKGROUND
Chorioangioma is a relatively common benign tumour of placenta arising from chorionic tissue. The incidence of it is very rare around 0.6%. These often remain unnoticed as they are rarely more than 5 cm.
CASE REPORT
We describe a case with large chorioangioma of placenta that had a poor pregnancy outcome.
CONCLUSION
Chorioangioma of placenta is a rare problem associated with potentially serious foetal risk, hence constant surveillance during pregnancy is required.
