Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the deadliest communicable diseases. India alone is accounting for one third of total TB cases.1 Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a rare complication of TB, but it may be a potentially life-threatening event.2 Lack of awareness regarding this association may be responsible for the condition being unrecognised. Despite TB being prevalent in India, data on the association with VTE is lacking. We report three cases of pulmonary TB (PTB) and one case of extra pulmonary TB associated with VTE.
